Last time it bloomed was in 2006. Every year a Neelakurinji Festival is organized at here. Devikulam is a pristine place near Munnar. You can visit Sita Devi Lake at here. It is believed that Sita Devi took bath at this river. The views of hills from here are heart touching. There are exciting and adventurous activities that you can enjoy at Munnar.
