Valliyoorkavu Temple is situated 3 kms east of Mananthavady, this temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga . The festival is a major event , thousands of people from all over take part in this biggest event in Wayanad. The tribal people of Wayanad perform a dance that is accompanied by percussion instruments.
